TERRITORIOmx is a business focused on the marketing and production of indoor ornamental plants in Mexico since 2021. Currently, its main sales channel is through direct sales on Instagram and rented spaces in local bazaars. TERRITORIOmx seeks to begin its expansion in the country by launching its online store in 2024 and during 2025, it plans to develop its mobile application to reach more users and potential customers. TERRITORIOmx seeks to provide its users with free and personalized advice, create a community of plant lovers in Mexico, and help beginners and experts in their development in the plant world.

PROBLEM

Nowadays, a large number of people are beginning to acquire ornamental plants to decorate, liven up or ambiance their homes and spaces, however, they find it difficult to keep the plant alive or in good health due to lack of time, organization, lack of knowledge or ignorance about the plant they acquired, largely because nurseries do not always provide reliable, trustworthy or accurate information and on the Internet the information is very varied, unreliable or redundant.

SOLUTION

The proposal aims to create a mobile app where users can purchase branded merchandise, a blog where they can search for information, chat with experts, identify spices using their mobile phone's camera and NFC when they come into contact with a branded flowerpot, a community or open forum to create a community, and receive reminders for watering, fertilizing, and changing lighting, primarily with a seasonal focus.
